Hummus



Recipe Instructions:

  • Soak the chickpeas in water overnight, or for at least 8 hours. Drain the water and rinse the chickpeas.
  • In a large pot, add the chickpeas and enough water to cover them by a few inches. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the chickpeas are tender.
  • Drain the chickpeas and transfer them to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
