Stewed beans with vegetables



Recipe Instructions:

  • Soak the beans overnight in a large bowl filled with water. Drain and rinse the beans the next day.
  • Place the beans in a large pot and cover with water. Bring the water to a boil and let the beans simmer for 5-10 minutes. Drain the beans and set them aside.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add vegetables and beans. Stir the vegetables frequently for about 2 minutes.
  • Add a small amount of boiled water to a saucepan to create a steamy environment for cooking vegetables. Cover the skillet with a lid and reduce the heat to low.
